Quit smoking – 12 advices
It's never to late to quit smoking.
At the start always remember to spend a lot of time in places where smoking cigarettes is prohibited like library or shops.
At the start always remember that when you suddenly feel that you want to smoke you have to do something else and try to forget about your need for a while. Call someone and talk. Wash dishes. Play computer game.
Talk with partner, family and friends about your fight with addiction. Boast of yourself.
Avoid activities that reminds you smoking. For example don't drink alcohol if you used to drink and smoke at the same time.
Avoid people who smoke.
Look down on them.
If you don't know what to do with your mouth chew a gum or eat candies. Eat pumpkin or sunflower seeds.
If you don't know what to do with your hands try Rubik's cube, solve Sudoku. Hold a pencil in your hand during conversation.
Drink a lot of water.
Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.
Sleep well.
Sleep long.
Try to do some sport.
(especially outside ;)
Avoid stresses and overworks but try to work a lot to be constantly busy in an well-organized way.
Throw away all your ash-trays, lighters and cigarettes.
Gone with the wind!...
And there is always one gold rule: always believe that you can do it! Fight the addiction!
